Your Boat Winterization Includes
- Draining the engine and bilge of water
- Stabilizing the fuel system
- Filling with non-toxic antifreeze when necessary
- Hull wash and check for damage to hull
- Battery disconnect
Tips:
| 1: Create your Spring out-of-storage to do list when your boat either is still in the water or before it is winterized. Short cuts can lead to problems next spring. |
| 2: Give all chrome and stainless hardware surfaces a light coat of boat wax. Don’t polish or buff surfaces. Leave that for next spring. |
